COACHING
We provide coaching that is result-oriented, effective and cost-efficient. Our one-on-one coaching programs involve using a variety of assessment tools, including the Birkman Method and the Campbell Interest and Skill Survey, as well as involving peers to help the executive reach their full potential in the coaching process.
Our clients include partners, presidents, senior executives, directors and managers. All programs vary depending on the coaching professional providing the services and may include but is not limited to:
PREPARATION
- Introductory meeting to confirm areas on which to focus coaching.
- Discussion of performance with supervisor of individual to agree on behaviors and tendencies to be the focus of coaching.
- Meeting with individual and individual's supervisor to review areas for focused coaching.
- Design protocol to use when interviewing co-workers of the individual and/or explanation of assessment instrument feedback to be used.
- Select co-workers to interview and/or participate in assessment instrument feedback survey.
- Select "advocate" for individual's progress through counseling. *
- Assign package of assessment instruments for individual to complete.
DATA GATHERING
- Review data from assessment instruments with individual.
- Morris Associates will interview co-workers of the individual using protocol developed in "preparation" phase of program.*
FOCUSED COACHING
- Management development coaching sessions between consultant and individual.
- In addition to coaching, provide individual with educational materials and assignments selected to reinforce behavior change between coaching sessions.
- Assist individual to draft report of personal behaviors and management development practices that have been improved, and on-going plan to sustain changes made.
LONG-RANGE ACTION PLANNING
- Summary meeting with individual, individual's manager and consultant to review results of management-development coaching and to review individual's plan to sustain change.
